My stay at Dash Living on Hollywood was even more comfortable and stylish than expected! Aside from the convenient location👍🏻👍🏻, sleek room design👍🏻, and complete facilities👍🏻👍🏻, what stood out the most and left a lasting impression was the thoughtful service from the front desk team❤️ A special and huge shoutout to Yoyo at the front desk🫶🏻 Due to a few details that needed adjustment during my stay, Yoyo patiently followed up and handled everything smoothly and efficiently. She is not only professional in her work, but also incredibly warm and friendly. Her assistance truly made a big difference and added so much value to the entire experience👏🏻
I had a fantastic experience staying at DASH Living Hollywood. The staff were genuinely kind, friendly, and always polite, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The location is outstanding. Hollywood Road is one of the best areas in Hong Kong, with incredible cafés, great bars, excellent restaurants, and so many interesting places to explore within walking distance. It was the perfect place to experience the city. Everything exceeded my expectations, and staying here made my trip even more memorable. I would happily stay here again and will definitely be back on my next visit to Hong Kong.
First time staying at Dash on Living Hollywood, and here are my constructive reviews: 1) Location – Good The location is convenient, as it is within walking distance of both Sheung Wan and Central. It takes only about 10 minutes to walk to either area. 2) Service – Very Poor There was no prior notification about the ongoing renovation works. Our first room was assigned on the 6th floor, where heavy renovation was taking place. The noise and chemical smell were extremely bad and felt quite toxic. I honestly don't understand how the hotel could accommodate guests on a floor with such intense drilling noise and strong paint or chemical odors. After we complained and rejected the room, we were moved to the 12th floor. While we could still occasionally smell the renovation materials and hear drilling sounds during the afternoon, it was much better than the original room. However, the lobby was still filled with a strong chemical smell. It was concerning enough that I almost considered reporting it to the Hong Kong authorities to verify whether the materials being used were compliant with safety regulations. 3) Misleading Advertising The property advertises facilities such as a large kitchen, game corner, and outdoor recreational area. However, they never clearly mention that guests must pay HKD 70 per hour to use these facilities. Really, HKD 70 per hour? This feels misleading, as these amenities are prominently featured in their marketing materials. Any additional charges should be clearly disclosed upfront. 4) Room Quality The room itself was decent; however, the lighting was extremely dim. It was difficult for me to apply makeup properly, and my husband also struggled to see clearly enough for shaving. The lighting is simply too dark, and I would not recommend this property for business travelers or anyone who needs to get ready for meetings or special occasions. You may need to bring your own mirror with proper lighting. Housekeeping was also disappointing. They only changed the towels but did not make the bed or wash the mugs. While we had no issue doing these tasks ourselves, the level of service does not justify the price being charged. Overall Experience Although the location is excellent, I would not return to this property. There are better options available in the area, and I would personally prefer to stay at Butterfly Hotel instead.
Mia is amazing! She has been an excellent help during my time at the hotel and has been very accommodating. She really made my experience great. Also, the laundry area is very clean and nice. Overall, exceptional stay in HK! Thanks Mia!
Clean and spotless hotel in a very perfect location in the middle of Sheungwan and Central HK at Hollywood Rd. The real gems of this hotel are its staff. Very easy to communicate with,they know how to please the guests, they are very helpful and accomodating…Its amazing and wonderful experience…I have stayed for more than 2 weeks in this hotel and they made me feel like I was home… Thank you for the hotel staff for giving me and my husband a free room upgrade…It was a very wonderful experience and totally unforgettable..
