I’m Thai, and this was the best Thai food experience I’ve had in Hong Kong. It genuinely felt like I was back in Bangkok. The flavors were authentic, the portions were generous, and the ingredients were clearly high quality. The staff were incredibly friendly and always happy to help whenever I had questions about the menu. There was a line when we arrived, but we only waited about 10 minutes to be seated. The food arrived quickly as well. Overall, a fantastic dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Awesome place to enjoy authentic Thai food. The server 'Fa Fa' is very quick and pleasant with her greetings as you hardly see anything like that in HK restaurants. She was very polite in recommending and bringing our food quickly. Also the food is amazing, we had crab fried rice and my friend had beef noodles, we ended with authentic mango fried rice. Overall a could be go to place with friends/family.
We had a fantastic time. The staff are absolutely lovely, our server Mani was extremely inviting and considerate, she made our night even more special. Samsen has undoubtedly become our new spot, every dish was not only delicious but some of the most authentic Thai food we have had in HK. We ordered the beef cheek massaman which was so tender it just fell apart, the wagyu beef with holy basil (fantastic), and the vegetarian Pad Thai—I was so grateful for the way they provide an entire dedicated menu for vegetarians and clearly take the time to handle the food separately—and was equally as good as all other dishes. For dessert we tried the coconut ice cream,—which I could not recommend enough, it is extremely refreshing—the pandan and coconut dumplings (you absolutely cannot pass up), as well as the Nutella roti. We truly had a wonderful time and can’t wait to go back! The atmosphere is warm and lively. I would recommend this to anyone looking for great food and a lovely evening.
A Must-Visit Thai Gem! I recently had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic Thai restaurant, and it truly exceeded all expectations. The food was absolutely delicious – fresh, flavorful, and packed with authentic Thai spices. Every dish we ordered was a winner, from the fragrant curries to the perfectly balanced stir-fries. The portions were generous and the quality was outstanding. What really made the experience special was the exceptional service. The entire team was warm, attentive, and super friendly. They made us feel genuinely welcomed from the moment we walked in. The ambiance is also lovely – modern yet cozy, with a relaxing atmosphere perfect for both casual meals and special occasions. A special shoutout goes to Hua Hua ”花花”(mean Flower x2) , who provided the best service I’ve had in a long time. She was incredibly attentive, cheerful, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Her kindness and professionalism truly stood out and made our visit even more memorable. If you’re looking for great Thai food, excellent service, and a beautiful environment, this restaurant is highly recommended. We’ll definitely be back soon! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I usually never go twice to the same restaurant when on a trip… we went 3 times in a row, on 5 nights in HK. It is honestly the best “Asian” food I have ever had (all in), and I am quite demanding. We tried a lot of different dishes and they were all AMAZING. We could not get enough of it. The papaya salad is to die for, the roti the same, and the mango sticky rice too! The service is perfect, everyone is nice and most people can speak a little bit of English. Please, go there and enjoy! The atmosphere is also very nice. If I am back in HK one day, this place will be the first I am going back to.
